It runs from December 1st through the 3rd.
I need to get the application in by October 28th. That means who's going to be doing this with us needs to be set by October 28th.
IF YOU WANT IN ON THIS, CONTACT ME NOW.
How this works:
We need to submit a CD with pictures of the art we will be selling. As soon as you can, send me one picture of each of the types of wares you will be selling. That means if you're selling earrings and gloves, I need a picture of each. If you're selling prints, two examples of the prints would be nice. We don't need to worry about space in a collage, like last time, because we're supposed to submit a CD of pictures instead.
We pay for the table together - splitting the 105$ fee amongst the contributing artists. So far we have 8 artists, making the fee for each of us $13.13. Who wants to be Mr./Ms. Lucky Number?
Artists:
Jessica Ewing
Fiona McNeal
Erika Noble
Fiona Jallings
Trevor Jallings
Rianna Trujillo
Jason Petty
Bridget Gibbons
Note: To be involved in this, you need to be taking at least 6 Credits, or we won't qualify for the student rate.
We'll gather the artwork in one place (the cubicle, then lock it up) the day BEFORE the Art Fair.
The Art Fair runs 9AM-6PM, except the last day, with closes at 5PM.
Set-up the first day starts at 6AM, though we generally don't start until 7AM the first day, then the other days we show up at 8:30. There always is tea, orange juice, and doughnuts provided.
You don't need to be at the table the whole time. Just drop by when you can so that if people want to contact you for a commission or complement you or give you feedback.
Speaking of feedback, if you're a contributing artist, be sure to make yourself a bunch of business cards. People will pick them up, especially if they want to commission you for something.
If you're not an artist, but want to help out, you can watch the table while the artists are in class or help set up and take down the table.
