In connection to the Hiroshima and Nagasaki Poster Exhibition, the university is going to send 1000 paper cranes to a memorial shrine in Nagasaki. They've got the Japanese Student Association working on it, but they need our help.
On September 8th we learned how to make origami cranes, so I figure we could produce a steady stream of them for a few months, and pretty easily fill the quota.
There also will be an event (some time in the future.... we'll get more information on this soon) where we have a table in the UC and help passers-by make paper cranes for a few hours.

Professor Exley was too busy to count, but I estimate that we're around 700 cranes.
